Rita Moura is a PhD student supervised by Professor Ray Dolan and Elliott Wimmer at the Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry and Ageing.
Rita's PhD project focuses on cognitive and neural systems underlying learning, memory, and decision-making. Specifically, her project looks at value-based decision-making and higher-order cognitive functions such as generalisation and schema learning across the lifespan and if these rely on intact memory computations.
Her project uses computational models and imaging techniques to study the disruption of these processes in neuropsychiatric disorders.
Rita received her MD degree from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and is currently a psychiatrist trainee.
